Pretty Good Studio
We built Pretty Good Studio ourselves in 2017 inside of The Mill - a creative coworking space in Adelaide. With help from our friends and our dads, we designed and constructed the space from the ground up, and it’s been evolving ever since.
What started as a small room with a computer and a couple of speakers, is now a fully equipped, reliable space for mixing and mastering.
Pretty Good Studio is our home base. While it’s primarily a space for our own work, we do occasionally share it with other creatives. We don’t typically offer the studio for dry hire, but when someone brings a skill set or approach that complements what we do, we’re absolutely open to working together.
Sometimes that means collaborating on a specific project; other times, it might look like hosting someone for a longer stretch. The space is built to support focused, professional work, and we’re always open to arrangements that bring value to both sides.
Gear List
We don’t believe that gear makes a studio, but good tools matter. Every piece of hardware in the room is chosen to help us work quickly and efficiently, allows us to make decisions with confidence, and assists in avoiding going back and forth on revisions.
We invest in gear that’s reliable and precise. It’s not about specific equipment or brands; it’s more about making sure every part of the studio works for us, and serves a purpose.
Everything is well maintained, calibrated, and ready to go. This means our sessions run smoothly, and we can focus on the music - not on wasting time fixing problems.
With that said, if you’re a huge gear nerd and you want to see a list - here it is!
